Psychology of Creativity

My holiday CDS - psychology of creativity... sounds like super boring huh?
Ya, tot so too... was pretty silly when they were going through the theories and stuff..but the workshops were FUN!

Really..I seriuosly mean it...

I went for fashion torso workshop and we had to design an outfit for the mini torso, this workshop was more on the theory side but I still enjoyed it. The best workshops were the pottery and charcoal painting workshops.
It was frustrating for the pottery one as you have to PINCH the clay into a pot by making an indent from the round clay and start pinching from inside of the hole whilst keeping the hole small...

do i make sense?? well...in short it was frustrating because the opening keeps getting bigger as the walls of the pot gets thinner and the cracks kept appearing and you have to mend it as it appears..very very time consuming..but a good training for patience and positive thinking...

The lecturer said one thing,"Treat the clay like women, you have to be gentle at times and firm at times"...which is quite true i think..

My pots were disastrous looking so I didn't take a photo of them...but i love my charcoal painting art piece...we have to do 3 charcoal painting.
One of which is to take a piece of charcoal and go round the room and draw on your FREN's paper and then after everyone has contributed to everyone else's paper, we had to go back to our own one to salvage it..it was pretty amusing

then after tat we had to do abstract art and according to our lecturer/artist (very famous charcoal painter in Singapore, Yen Chua)... she said,"abstract art is similiar to overlapping shapes, forms, lines and colours..." so i drew overlapping circles and it turned out retro looking instead of abstract..hahaha
Then the part where we had to draw our childhood imaginary friend wasw hilarious, everyone had a funny idea of their imginary friend and i drew "nu mo wang" from Journey to the West..hahah no idea why I did taht. I just wanted to do it..haha

well..it was very fun, didn't regret doing this..but monday's the common test..this part of it i regret having to take..haha looking forward to diving in two weeks!!!!!!

for women only?

For Women Only

A group of girlfriends is on vacation when they see a 5-story hotel witha sign that reads: "For Women Only". Since they are without theirboyfriends and husbands, they decide to go in.

The bouncer, a very attractive guy, explains to them how it works.

"Wehave 5 floors. Go up floor by floor, and once you find what you arelooking for, you can stay there. It's easy to decide since each floor has a signtelling you what's inside."

So they start going up and on the first floor the sign reads: "All themen on this floor are short and plain." The friends laugh and withouthesitation move on to the next floor.

The sign on the second floor reads: "All the men here are short and handsome." Still, this isn't good enough, so the friends continue on up.

They reach the third floor and the sign reads: "All the men here aretall and plain."

They still want to do better, and so, knowing there are still two floors left, they continued on up.

On the fourth floor, the sign is perfect:"All the men here are tall and handsome." The women get all excited andare going in when they realize that there is still one floor left. Wonderingwhat they are missing, they head on up to the fifth floor.

There they find a sign that reads: "There are no men here. This floor was built only to prove that there is no way to please a woman."
