My dive trip @ Pulau Aur!!!
everybody! I am back from my dive trip at pulau aur! went with my friends -yangze, huimin, xian kan..cool buddies.. it was a lot of fun and would be so much better if the vis was better but because of the rain etc there were a lot of sediments stirred up so water vis was not as good...
I found a new best friend - huimin haha..at first we had a few thigns in common, was very surprised she knows french too, but of course she's better at it since she took it for 4 years and had an exchange program in france..keke...did try to speak in french with her.. talked about dance and stuff then realised she did ballet too!!! ..it was great talking about our classes and past experiences..very happy that yangze actually found someone that has so much in common with me on the trip, coincidental!
The only torture i had during my dive trip was the wearing of the wet suit, i borrowed it from my brother's girlfriend, and it was a wee bit too tight so I had to struggle and wiggle my way into it for all the dives, altogether 4...
my first dive was most unforgetable, there were so many fishes under neath, the colour was not what i expected though, i hoped to see more colourful stuff...i think i only saw two or three very bright colour ones..had to practise our pool skills in the sea, worse phoebea was the mask clearing, very scared...haha..difficulty trying to fill my mask with water..but still completed the exercise pretty well..and then what did i see exactly??
keke... we saw a damselfish ( colourfish and aggresive, protective of habitat)..instrutor tried to fence with it..it was like chsing us and the fishes away from the area...then saw a cushion starfish..very fat was all i can say about that starfish..really like a cushion too hahah
the 2nd and 3rd dive didn't really see anything special becasue we didn't do exploration, it was more on the skills...saw the usual clown fish and its anemone, nudi branch, clams, green wrasse, feather duster worm, sphgatti worm, chritmas tree worm ( very colourful!), blue spotted stingray, croewn of thorns starfish, seacucmber...I am copying these from my dive log haha...I saw them but was too bsy trying to keep myself bouyant and swim properly without bumping to my classmates hahaha!!
was a once in a lifetime experience...so glad i actually went, plus the people i went with made the trip even more unforgettable!!!! we had a party that night before our last dive, had BBQ food, and great music, they even have a DJ...one of the divers la.. then we partied and danced and drank ...seriuosly, drank...the first time i dun mind drinking and didn't really get very red after drinking..it was really a lot a lot of fun, had to teach yangze and one of the dive masters how to waltz, and recap our ballet dances with huimin...gosh...i have to go back tehre again for my leisure dive, until vis is good and i am satisfied with my skills underwater!!!!! then i'll make my way to hpuket, and maldives and australia etc..to see even more things underwater..well...i mean enjoy more things underwater since i dun have to worry about swimming and keeping buoyant anymore! keke...that will be a long time more..keke
on way back, xian kan and I had a bit of seasickness...we slept outside the boat on the decks, cos inside was really giving our stomach problems...the two of us sat outside for a long time, until there was trhee dolphins playing with the boat, or rather racing..so amusing to see them jump and swim back and jump and swim back...pretty cool...i sat outside for a long time until i felt sleepy so slept on the floor...the sun tan me a little bit, until the heat was so unbearable, i decided to go backin to sleep, luckily did not really feel like vomiting already...slept my way back..
feel a bit sick on my way back..feverish actually, had a bad stomach and all...if not the trip would really be perfect..
well, at least now i am feling better and all ready to go for my internship! yeahey!! trying to keep my mind all positive about the internship so i can do a good job there!
